Saturday, August 22nd
We will be meeting with the high school teams at practice time tomorrow, 3:45-5:30. JV and C-team may decide to practice after our initial discussion. The Varsity team will not practice tomorrow, but will instead meet together. We will be available to meet with any Varsity parents after 5:30 that would like to, in order to better help their daughter in the healing process. Thank you.
We would like to pass on the official statement from the school district concerning the accident yesterday, Saturday, August 22nd.
From the Spooner Area School District:
"Spooner high school student volleyball athletes were traveling along Highway 63 and became involved in an accident with another vehicle. After medical reviews, all athletes, coaches and the bus driver have been released. While the fatalities being reported did not involve those traveling on the bus, the Spooner Area School District wishes to offer support and caring thoughts to all those involved. Our hearts are with the families and communities that are most affected by this incident."

Fall Parent and Player Meeting Forms
High School:
1. Link to concussion, WIAA, athletic code, physical, and alternate year cards. You will need to stop into the district office to pick up the trainer form.
2. Volleyball handbook with last page being turned in.
3. UMD College Permission form and Team Meal waiver
4. Gear Order Form
5. HS Calendar
6. HS Pretty Schedule
7. Players will be getting a volunteer form this week.

Fall Parent and Player Mandatory Volleyball Meeting
We have a mandatory parent and player volleyball meeting on Monday, August 10th at 6:30 pm at the high school. Forms, handbook, gear, and more information will be given. Thank you!
